Give Back to Community

Long Gone Day performed a fantastic two hour set on March 25th at Old Canal Inn, a favorite venue by many local residents in Nutley, New Jersey. A benefit show for Bloomfield Middle School music scholarship fund made it an extra special show. The band helped to raise money for this very worthy cause; family, friends, and new fans came out to support the band they love so much. What’s not to love about these guys? Seriously. They bring you energy, lyrical magic, and they bring you music while giving back to what they love.

As a band they work together having fun while performing and happy to get their fans involved; singing along and thrashing around is all part of the show. This was my third time seeing Long Gone Day and it is always a fun time. Not only are they hard core musicians, Anthony Coviello (lead vocals/guitar) Anthony Coppola (drums), Dan Sasso (bass) and Artie Verderamo (guitar/singing) are also the friendliest people I know. Anthony Coviello mentioned to me they are thrilled to play anywhere, the smaller the venue, the better. They make it apparent in their performance that they are open to connecting to fans and are happy to make it an intimate experience for them. An underground band making the effort to help their community while giving a spectacular performance is truly a gift to the community and anyone who gets to catch their set live. Whether you are from the New Jersey area or not, I would wholeheartedly recommend to go see them live. It is an experience you will not regret.
